Summertime Fun

We have had a fun filled Summer - the kids have gone to two different Summer Camps this year and loved both! One was a STEM Camp at their school (Scholar Academy) and the other was a Silly Science camp through the Children's Museum in SLC. We have also been busy with our own projects and experiments. Gavin started getting the Tinker Crate from KiwiCo and his first project was to build a hover disc.

We took a drive up to Park City and rode the Mountain Coaster one weekend.

The kids enjoyed another Summer of swim lessons in Stansbury Park. We've also been enjoying playtime in our pool at home!

For one of our experiments, we put yeast, warm water and sugar in a bottle and then attached a balloon to the top.

We threw a mid-Summer party for the kids and had about 9 other kids join us for water fun.

The kids and I made the trek into SLC to go to the Treehouse Museum with friends Emma and Jackson.

School starts in mid-August, so only about 2 weeks of Summer left before Avery is a Kindergartner and Gavin is a second grader!
