Our Mr. Gavin was one of four narrators in the musical Finding Nemo! They just had their performance on Friday night and I have recordings of it but they are broken into sections instead of one long recording. The audio isn't great - sorry. Also, not all the kids had a microphone to use and some of them are a bit hard to hear but please enjoy the music!! (Do not be intimidated by the number of links - the whole play was only 30 minutes long)
He was so proud of himself and we were proud of him!! Not only did he do the performance on Friday night but they performed it twice on Wednesday and twice on Thursday during school for the kids. He had just recovered from the flu the week before and his voice wasn't quite back but he still got though it!
Our friends, the Searle's, joined us for the Friday evening performance too!
Avery was dressed as a dalmatian because it was the 101st day of 1st grade! Here is a quick video of Avery doing one of her gymnastics skills on the balance beam:
