I am behind in my posts again but wanted to give a quick update - before all the Chrsitmas craziness, I had cataract surgery on both eyes (one on a Tuesday and the other on Wednesday). We didn't have enough going on so I decided to add more to my plate! This is how I had to sleep for a couple nights so there wouldn't be any pressure on my eyes. Fun, fun, fun!
This Christmas we visited Santa, Gavin was Student of the Month, we made individual gingerbread houses (meaning I bought a kit of premade houses at Target that we each decorated) and we went to a performance at the Utah Symphony! We did not notice the certificate was upside down until days later! Ha!
And Grandparents joined us at our house for Christmas this year!
Avery lost a tooth on Christmas Day (that way the Tooth Fairy didn't have to compete with Santa).
Avery read to Grandpa and got to build some Lego with Grandma.
We all gave Grandpa hugs before he drove back to Phoenix.
Everyone received face masks in their stockings, so we got to try those out!
The kids and I celebrated Noon Year's Eve at Ken's Gym where they did a balloon drop at noon.
Gavin got to join Daddy at a Jazz game while Mommy and Avery did a girls night at home (Avery was sick with the flu).
Face masks and nails! (Her nails stayed on for about 20 minutes...each one coming off as she continued to play on her gymnastics bar)
That's all for now folks!! We hope you are enjoying 2026! Stay healthy - the flu is rampant. Avery had it in the beginning of January and now Gavin has it. Hope you can avoid it!
