Bryce Vacation continues

Our second day in the area was on the weekend and since Bryce was going to be busy, we decided to check out other places in the area that were not as popular. So we started with the Mossy Cave Trail which had a waterfall!

Then we did the tunnel trail in Red Canyon which gives a great view of the two tunnels that go over the road. It was a very narrow trail!

Then we hiked Pink Ledges trail right by the Red Canyon Visitor Center and ended our hike with lunch at one of the nearby picnic tables where the kids got to enjoy the antics of chipmunks. The kids also got to see Smoky the Bear for the first time...just a statue but it was a good photo op!

We ended our day with a hike on the Arches trail during which we were supposed to see 15 arches. We aren't sure if we found them all or not, we lost count during the hike. But there were great views!

Our last stop for the day was the local playground near our Air BNB which also had a splash pad. It was a bit chilly out but the kids still wanted to get in the water! So we stripped them down and they had a blast! Unfortunately the only pic I got of Avery going down the slide is the one time she slipped and her legs were in the air! LOL
