We have been very busy this Fall so far! Avery had a dance recital where the girls could wear their Halloween costumes. So I have the video for you!

The front of our hotel with the kids posing by each of the characters in front.
Character meet and greet inside our hotel.
Decorations inside the restaurant at our hotel.
Back side of hotel with entrance to Legoland behind the dragon.
This is the back side of the other Legoland Resort which is right next to ours.
Inside the other Resort was this fun play castle!
More decorations inside the other resort.
Then we moved to the front of the Legoland entrance to get pics of their decorations.
We all rode the carousel and this is Avery by the wall of Lego flowers.
We walked through miniland which had versions of San Francisco, San Diego, New York City (with Dinosaurs roaming the streets) and Vegas.
The kids had a Fall Break last weekend, so we decided to take them to Legoland! We had two full days at Legoland and the kids had a great time!! We stayed at the Legoland Castle Resort in a Wizard room. The kids got to do a scavenger hunt in the hotel to figure out the code for the safe in our room and inside they found two minifigure sets. The next day, the room cleaning service left another surprise inside the safe! Some pics for you to enjoy!

Our first ride in Legoland was Coastersaurus which the kids loved. We didn't get any pics of it but the next ride was a boat ride through a dinosaur infested swamp.

We found another boat ride that gave you some control over steering but the boats were very slow to respond and Gavin had a hard time figuring it out. Avery also needed help!
We walked through miniland which had versions of San Francisco, San Diego, New York City (with Dinosaurs roaming the streets) and Vegas.
Kids enjoyed a jousting ride (Avery more than Gavin) and then took more pics with various Lego characters. The park also had several Lego building stations scattered around, so Gavin could take a break from rides and build for a while.
Next up was Ninjago with a great playground for the kids and some fun rides as well!

The next day we walked through the park in the opposite direction to make sure we hit everything we wanted. More pictures with different Lego builds. There were two roller coasters near the Ninjago area, so we got to ride those again before it got too busy.
Classic sibling pic below - Avery wanted to take a pic in the car first but Gavin got in first, so she was pouting and crying about it.
.
Here is a quick video of this plane ride.
Avery decided to revisit the jousting ride.
Quick video of the beginning of the jousting ride:
Avery got the coveted Space Baby pop badge! The lanyards the kids are wearing are covered in pop badges that they have collected from various Lego employees in the park and at the resorts. Space baby, pink space baby, and Mr. Gold are super rare and you have to ask for them specifically. She was very excited!!
This was a cool Ferrari building station with this life sized Ferrari. The kids got to build their own cars and race them down this ramp. Then they each got to stand on the winner's block.
Our last night at the Resort restaurant, Gavin created another build that he got to present to the storytellers and other kids who had gathered in the restuarant to show their own builds. Gavin built an Ogre that was stuck in special quicksand that turns the Ogre into a human for a week. If a human gets stuck in the quicksand, then they would turn into an Ogre for a week.
Avery with her build she did at the other Legoland resort and then a quick video of Gavin knighting me with the sword he built.
The next day we left Legoland to stay with Brian, Sarah, and Sam! They threw a Halloween party so we all got dressed up in our costumes.
It was great to catch up with so many friends and the next morning our friend Leslie was able to come over for a visit too! Then we drove down to visit with my Aunt Carol.
Sorry this was so long but we had lots of pics to share!! Hope you have a Happy Halloween!!
