It has been very busy for us (and everyone else I am sure)! I am just now getting around to posting about Thanksgiving and it's almost Christmas! My parents were here from Phoenix and my Aunt Carol flew in from San Diego. My parents have a new dog, a Shiba Inu named Tuck, and the kids had a great time playing with him in the backyard.
We took the kids to open gym at Ken's gym and showed the facility to my parents and Aunt Carol. Carol loved the springy floor and even went through one of the blow up obstacle courses!
Here's Carol going down the slide at the end of the obstacle course:
The day after Thanksgiving, we took Carol and my Mom bowling and then the kids checked out a few games in the arcade. Carol got to sit in on one of the games Avery chose:
We celebrated Carlton's Birthday (which was the day after Thanksgiving)!
Then the kids got to open and help put together an early Christmas gift from Grandpa! It's one of those multi-use tables that has about 12 different games you can play, including basketball, foosball, pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, etc.
Carlton and I got a night off from kids and saw the Cirque de Soleil show called Holidaze! It was full of acrobatic wonders!!
After the show, we had dinner downtown and walked around to see some of the holiday lights.
Then the following Friday, Avery had a dance recital!
We also went to see the Festival of Trees in Salt Lake City. SOOOOO many trees!! We were there for 1.5 hours and only saw about a third of the trees. We really enjoyed the Gingerbread houses too!
Also, Gavin lost another tooth and we got a family pic with Santa!
Now on to Christmas!! We hope you enjoy the holidays with your loved ones!!
